Here is what a typical community and wildlife safari itinerary looks like.
Day 1 – Head to Jinja. The adventure capital of the region for a whitewater rafting experience on the Nile River.
Day 2 – Full day Whitewater rafting
Day 3 – Head to Mbale in eastern Uganda
Day 4 – Visit a local school and spend most of the day with the students
Day 5– Visit local families. You will have the option to spend a night at the village if you would like to have that experience. No running water here and limited or no electricity.
Day 6 – Head out to Sipi Falls to stay at a lodge. Activities here include; village walks, local coffee making and drinking, visit to the waterfalls and abseiling.
Day 7 – Sipi Falls
Day 8 – Head out to Murchison Falls National Park. Activities here include; a boat cruise on the Nile, game drives, Rhino tracking etc.
Day 9 – Murchison Falls National Park
Day 10 – Head to Kibale Forest National Park. Activities here include; chimpanzee tracking, village walks, tea garden walks etc.
Day 11 – Kibale Forest National Park
Day 12 – Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Activities here include; game drives, boat cruise etc.
Day 13 – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 14 – Head to Bwindi Gorilla National Park. Activities here include; gorilla tracking, village walks, visit to the little people community.
Day 15– Bwindi National Park
Day 16 – Head to Lake Bunyonyi. Activities here are; canoeing, swimming, village walks and simply relaxing.
Day 17 – Lake Bunyonyi
Day 18 – Head to Lake Mburo National Park. Activities here include; game safaris on a mountain bike, horse, boat cruise etc.
Day 19 – Lake Mburo National Park
Day 20 – Head to Kampala. Possible activities here; a visit to the Ndere traditional dance center, a city tour and souvenir shopping.
Day 21 – Depart for final destination
